Who should attend Revenue School?
Supervisors, Managers and Directors from an agency that must rely wholly or in part on generating revenues, such as organizations associated with state or local parks, recreation, leisure service, military recreation and various other non-profits.

Are there CEU’s for attending the Revenue School?
Yes, NRPA will award CEU’s each year to all students that complete the course work.

What benefits might I get for attending Revenue School?
The Revenue Development and Management School was developed in 1965 and was the first national revenue school.  Over 4,500 Supervisors, Managers and Directors have attended Revenue School. The Revenue School is a four-day interactive classroom based learning environment  that encourages interaction and is taught by professionals that have proven their techniques work. The networking aspect of the school with other professionals is invaluable.

How will I be able to further my learning after I graduate from the school?
Every three years, the Revenue School has an Executive Forum for graduates of the School.  The Executive Forum offers a more in depth learning environment with specific topics.

Is there financial assistance available?
The Thomas Hines Scholarship was developed to encourage and enable first year students to attend the second year. Applications are available on the Scholarship Information web page.

How do I get to the School?
Oglebay Resort and Conference Center is located about an hour west of Pittsburgh. There are shuttles that can take you from Pittsburgh International Airport to Oglebay Resort.  You must make reservations for the shuttle prior to your arrival at the airport and for your return trip to the airport. When should I arrive at the School?
You should arrive on Sunday afternoon for the School.  Each student should check in at the School registration area to receive their packet for the School. Orientation begins on Sunday night in Glessner Auditorium.  Classes begin first thing Monday morning.
